Job Requirements
Language: English
Education: Education in Business Administration or related
Experience: 2 years of related work experience
Location of work: Various locations in Kelowna area
Tasks
- Hire, direct and motivate staff
- Plan, develop, evaluate and implement recruitment initiatives
- Assign staff to attend career fairs, make industry connections with training providers
- Promote company as a positive and environmentally friendly employer
- Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
- Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions and salary scales
- Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
- Administer compensation programs and structures
- Oversee training of staff, maintain records and staff files
- Schedule staff according to project need
- Oversee administration of company workplace safety policy and investigate any concerns related to safety
