Nature of position:      Permanent, full-time (30 hours per week)

 

Wage:                          $53,275 per annum

 

Vacation:                     15 days per annum

 

Language required:     English, spoken and written

JOB DUTIES: This is a hybrid position, including both marketing and administrative duties.

 

Marketing Duties (75% of working hours)

 

  • Assess characteristics of services to be promoted to determine marketing and advertising needs of business;
  • Advise directors on marketing and advertising opportunities and strategies;
  • Develop strategies and related content for direct and digital marketing and advertising campaigns and implement them;
  • Manage post campaign analysis to measure and report on marketing and advertising metrics;
  • Assist in development of website and ensure that it continuously meets brand requirements;
  • Assist in preparation of reports, newsletters, and other material;
  • Develop and maintain social media accounts, including managing customer reviews and testimonials; and
  • Implement outreach program to vendors, interested customers, and leads per stakeholder requests.

 

Administrative Duties (25% of working hours)

  • Conduct market research on possible communities and landscape of possible new business sites;
  • Coordinate with real estate agents to review potential new business sites, and present findings to directors;
  • Coordinate all tasks related to procuring new business site;
  • Identify vendors and establish procedures related to purchase of inventory and equipment for business.

 

REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience:

 

  • A college diploma or university degree with some related coursework in marketing, business, or psychology.
  • Some experience in a marketing or business development role.
  • Some experience in the education sector or an understanding of marketing for a business in the education sector.
  • Proficiency in InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and presentation.
