Job Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and shape hair or hairpieces according to customer specifications, ensuring attention to detail and precision.
- Utilize expertise to recommend suitable hairstyles based on individual client preferences and physical attributes, staying updated on current trends and styles.
- Comb, brush, and apply styling products to achieve desired hair texture and set style, ensuring a polished and professional appearance.
- Apply bleach, tints, dyes, and wash, colour, and streak hair as requested by the client.
- Determine hair and scalp conditions, providing personalized recommendations and treatments for maintaining hair health and enhancing overall scalp and hair beauty.
- Apply hair extensions, blending seamlessly with natural hair to achieve desired length and volume while ensuring a natural-looking finish.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the salon.
- Maintain client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with other staff for a cohesive and efficient work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Completion of Secondary School.
- Relevant education or 2-3 years of work experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment.
- Attention to detail and precision in hair cutting and styling.
- Knowledge of hair care products and their appropriate usage.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
