Salary and Benefits

Salary: $17.50 per hour

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of dishes, ensuring authenticity and flavor.
  • Ensure that all food preparation and service meet high standards.
  • Supervise kitchen and service activities, resolving any issues quickly.
  • Maintain a frequent inventory check to ensure supplies are used efficiently and restocked whenever necessary.
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and hygiene to avoid contamination.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized kitchen, meeting or exceeding all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Estimate food requirements and costs, plan menus, and monitor and order supplies.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Manage kitchen operations.
  • Calculate the necessary quantities of ingredients and their costs to maintain budget control and minimize waste.
  • Promote a collaborative and supportive work environment through professionalism and positivity.
  • Perform other essential job duties as required.

 

Required Education & Experience

  • High school.
  • Relevant education (degree/diploma/certificate) or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and recipes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
