Working hours: 40 hours per week


Job responsibilities:
1. Interview suppliers and negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements.
2. Review the requirements of the company and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
3. Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials and visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product events.
4. Select the merchandise which best fits the company’s requirements.
