Job description:
Viewmax Windows and Doors Ltd. manufactures and supplies top quality, energy saving windows and doors using cutting edge technology. Our main office is located at 2-23 McCleary Court, Concord, Ontario L4K 3R6.
We are looking for a Chief Sales Officer and Vice President of Product Design to join our team immediately to lead our sales and marketing strategy and oversee our sales, marketing and product design teams. This is a permanent, full-time position of 40 hours/week with an annual salary of $115,000 and two weeks of vacation per year. The language of work for this position is English.
The main responsibilities of this position include:
- Directing the sales and marketing objectives and strategies for Viewmax Canada and North America overall;
- Hiring and managing the staff for the sales, marketing and product design departments;
- Training agents in the portfolio of Viewmax’ products;
- Overseeing the improvement of our products through the exploration of North American market products and Viewmax’ products adaptation;
- Overseeing the products certification and test in QAI Laboratories and directing the processes of obtaining EnergyStar labels for all Viewmax’ products;
- Establishing the development of designs for products geared towards the Canadian market;
- Developing and maintaining business relations with Canadian and North American vendors; and
- Representing the company in negotiating commercial contracts and technical agreements.
You must have the following qualifications:
- A university degree in engineering, business administration, commerce or a related field
- Extensive experience leading a sales and marketing department
- Extensive experience directing manufacturing companies, specifically manufacturers of windows and doors
- Advanced knowledge in the research and development, design, marketing and distribution of windows and doors
