2408904 Ontario Inc. O/A Woodbine Banquet and Convention Centre Located at 30 Vice Regent Blvd, Etobicoke, ON, M9W 7A4 requires 2 Assistant Cooks (Indian Cuisine) on Permanent/Full time basis. Wage: $ 18.50 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. 1 year to less than 2 years’ experience is required. Additionally, 10 paid vacations and 10 days sick leaves will be given. Job Duties Assistant Cook (Indian Cuisine)
- Assisting the Cook in food preparation activities, such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling food ingredients
- Cleaning and sanitising the food preparation areas in accordance with company and health safety standards
- Washing, disinfecting and properly storing cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment
- Operating a variety of kitchen appliances and instruments including cutters, knives, mixers and ovens
- Unloading supplies and organising the storeroom
- Any other help that the cook may need in order to prepare any dishes
