Job description:
Mount Pleasant Montessori Inc. O/A Mount Pleasant Montessori, located at 15 Ashby Field Rd, Brampton, ON L6X 3B7, requires 2 Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) on a Permanent full-time basis. Wage: $ 22.85 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. Additionally, 4% vacation pay will be paid out per year.

Must Have:
· Completed 2-year ECE Program.
· In good standing with the College of ECE.
· 2 years to less than 3 years’ experience as an Early Childhood Educator.
Job Duties:
- Daily Reporting and Record-Keeping – Attendance, Allergy, Medication, and Communication Logs.
- Support children with emotional, physical, or behavioral problems and help develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
- Provide support for children in the classroom and enable them to fully participate in activities. Maintain up-to-date emergency cards, attendance, and health and safety checks.
- Work with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary.
- Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms, program reporting.
- Manage and maintain an orderly classroom – follow cleaning schedules and room routines.
- Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA.
- Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops.
