Hiring a Human resources supervisor
Location of work: 1100-1631 Dickson Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y 0B5
1 position available, 30 Hours per Week
Wage: $42/hour
Job Type: Full time – Permanent, to start as soon as possible
NOC: 11200
Requirements: Secondary education, 2 years of related work experience, English language
Main duties:
- Devise and execute company-wide hiring strategy
- Determine staffing levels in conjunction with management
- Implement staffing plans to assure required trades are available
- Hire and oversee training of staff
- Manage human resources information and related records systems
- Ensure new employees are on boarded and receive site orientation
- Plan, develop and implement human resources policies and programs
- Organize employee performance and assessment programs
- Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
- Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs and relevant labour laws
