Responsibilities
Tasks
- Supervise daily operations of truck drivers to ensure efficient route management.
- Monitor truck drivers performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance truck drivers skills and safety awareness.
- Schedule and assign routes based on delivery requirements and driver availability.
- Handle driver grievances and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of truck drivers performance and vehicle maintenance.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize freight transportation processes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and federal transportation regulations.
- Evaluate and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Foster a positive team environment and promote driver engagement and morale.
