Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations during all shifts, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.
  • Manage staff tasks and create efficient schedules to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Handle returns and refunds while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and adhering to company guidelines.
  • Respond to customer complaints, requests, and supply shortages quickly and effectively to enhance customer loyalty.
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels, place orders when necessary, and track supply chain performance to prevent stock shortages.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales, merchandising, and staff performance, using data to identify improvements and growth opportunities.
  • Mentor employees, provide constructive feedback, and support their development, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure the store’s visual presentation, including displays, signage, and cleanliness, meets company standards.
  • Perform frontline tasks like cashiering, stocking, and assisting customers to maintain operational efficiency during busy periods.
  • Handle key tasks such as opening and closing the store, securing premises, managing emergencies, and resolving high-level issues.
  • Execute in-store marketing and promotional campaigns, working with management to drive sales and boost brand visibility.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and store policies, ensuring a safe environment for staff and customers.
  • Lead by example to foster a positive customer service culture, empowering staff and creating a welcoming environment for everyone.
  • Support company initiatives like sustainability, community outreach, and corporate social responsibility, ensuring store participation.

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in retail or gas station environments preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle escalated customer concerns and operational challenges effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the store’s operational needs.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to company procedures and policies, with openness to ongoing training and development.
