Superfast pays attention to find innovative ideas to improve the production and growth of their clients. We are currently hiring for an in-house Bookkeeper at our office.
Job Duties
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping tasks such as preparing invoices, A/R, A/P, payroll and bank deposits
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls, supplier invoices, government remittances as well as other expenditures using relevant software
- Maintain company's financial records, timesheets, schedules, and employee files
- Prepare and manage invoices, receipts, and budgets, payroll, and deposits
- Reconcile expenditures with the receipts, Tally receipts
- Manage payments and receivables from other companies
- Prepare deposit slips after reconciling payment received
- Maintaining the trial balances, profit and loss statements and balance sheet
- Managing accounts payable and receivables, reconciling bank statements
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management if required
- Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services
Employment Requirements
– Completion of secondary school is mandatory. Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field will be an asset to have
– 1-2 years of full-time experience as bookkeeper or accounting clerk is required
– Excellent communication skills in written and oral English
– Proficiency in MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel
– Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
– Analyzing Information, Dealing with Complexity, Reporting Research Results, Data Entry Skills, Accounting, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Thoroughness
Benefits
As per BC Employment Standards act, 10 days paid vacation annually or 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each period. 5 days of paid sick leave per year.
