Rychter P Construction Ltd. located in White Rock; BC is currently hiring 1 full-time Carpenter for our growing team. The candidate must be able to follow instructions, eager to learn and work as a team.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $30.00 per hour 

Start date: As soon as possible                

Work locations(s): White Rock, BC, and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Job duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
• Finish surfaces of woodwork in houses and buildings, using hand tools and paneling.
• Work on new projects remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures.
• Build foundations, install floor beams and subflooring, build walls, and install partitions.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
• Supervise other construction workers.

Job requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School
• Completion of an apprenticeship program in a relevant trade OR Minimum 3 years of experience in the trade is required.
• Ability to communicate in English
