About Position:
Location: Brampton, ON L6V 4K2
Workplace Information: On-site
Salary: $33.65 to $34.10 hourly (To be negotiated)
Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and create custom graphic designs for marketing materials such as business cards, brochures, flyers, banners, posters, and signage.
- Engage with customers to understand their design needs and provide expert advice and recommendations.
- Offer consultations regarding design options, color schemes, typography, and print formats to ensure satisfaction.
- Prepare digital files for print and ensure all designs meet production standards.
- Operate and maintain in-store printing and finishing equipment, such as wide-format printers, laminators, and cutting machines, to produce high-quality print materials.
- Create cohesive branding materials for customers, including logos, brand identity packages, and templates.
- Design layouts for promotional products, such as custom stationery, postcards, and mailers, ensuring consistency in style and messaging.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Perform quality control checks on all print and design materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Review all designs and printed materials to ensure accuracy, color consistency, and adherence to customer specifications before final approval.
- Conduct pre-press checks to ensure files are correctly formatted and ready for print.
- Maintain digital assets and customer files using Google Drive and OneDrive.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions, suggesting design improvements, and ensuring customer satisfaction with final products.
- Assist in creating digital assets for email campaigns, online advertisements, and website content for marketing purposes.
- Maintain an inventory of design and print materials such as paper stock, inks, and other supplies.
- Develop promotional materials for the UPS Store itself, such as advertisements, social media posts, and in-store promotional displays.
- Ensure that design and printing equipment is properly maintained and serviced as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- 1 year or more post-secondary education related to graphic design.
- OR high school diploma with more than 3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer.
- Software Knowledge:
- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Google Drive and OneDrive
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience:
- Proven 1 year experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a retail or printing environment.
- Skills:
- Strong creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
