Location: Mississauga, ON L5C 4R3
Salary: $45.25 hourly / 35 hours per Week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for software solutions that address organizational needs effectively.
- Examine existing business processes to pinpoint inefficiencies and suggest improvements and system enhancements that optimize workflows and overall performance.
- Collaborate with IT development teams to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful implementation of business solutions.
- Develop comprehensive functional specifications that guide development teams, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather insights, discuss requirements, and achieve consensus on project objectives.
- Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity and focus on delivering user-centric software solutions.
- Assist in deploying new systems or enhancements, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions to business operations.
- Monitor system performance post-implementation, collecting user feedback to identify issues and recommend necessary adjustments or enhancements.
- Support the management of project timelines, resources, and deliverables, while keeping stakeholders informed with regular updates on project progress and status.
Eligibility Requirements:
- College/CEGEP is the minimum educational requirement.
- Prior experience of 1 to 2 years in business analysis, system design, software development, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex business requirements and propose solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively interacting with stakeholders and team members.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software applications relevant to business analysis is required.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced IT environment.
- Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate options and make informed recommendations for process improvements.
