Job description:
Roofer required
Salary $28/hr
Fulltime, Permanent
Requirements:
Experience: 1 year or more required
Education: Not required.
Language: English.
Duties:
- Install, repair or replace built-up roofing systems
- Install, repair or replace single-ply roofing system
- Install, repair or replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs
- Install sheet metal flashings
- Install and repair metal roofs
- Use hand and power tools
- Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
- Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs
- May estimate materials required and quote costs.
Work in various Locations in lower mainland BC.
