We are currently looking for 2 talented and enthusiastic Cooks to become a part of our dedicated team. Join us in delivering outstanding dining experiences and contributing to the continued success of Korean Grill.

Position Title: Cook

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Estimated Starting Date: As Soon As Possible

Position Available: 02

Wage: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour (Depending on Working Experience)

Work Hours: 30 hours per week

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay or 10 Business Days of Paid Vacation

Responsibility:

• Prepare and cook various menu items from the menu of Korean Grill;
• Supervise and train kitchen staff and ensure their consistent work performance;
• Oversee the kitchen’s daily operation and coordinate the shift schedule of kitchen staff;
• Maintain a clean and sanitize working area;
• Participate in menu planning, portioning, and garnishing of the dish;
• Ensure food quality meets the standard of Korean Grill;
• Monitor and manage inventory of food ingredients, supplies, and equipment and place an order in a timely manner;

Qualification:

• Completion of secondary school is usually required;
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks, OR completion of college or other programs in cooking or food safety, OR more than 1+ years of commercial cooking experience may be required;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a great team player;
• Working knowledge of English.
