INVIXIUM is seeking an enthusiastic Electronic Service / Manufacturing Technician to join our Operations team. This is a permanent, full-time position located in Markham. In this role, you will be reporting to the Production Manager.

 

 

 

You will be responsible for the inspection, testing and assembly of our electronic biometrics and facial recognition products. You will be responsible for the efficient production of products according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies.

Our devices capture accurate data which is used to perform intelligent analytics and generate meaningful, user-friendly dashboards to help businesses of all sizes become more healthy, productive, and secure. Responsibilities:

 

  • Inspect and test the products, materials and parts, and ensure the quality of the materials and parts for the manufacturing of the products.
  • Compile test report to the supervisor by perform studies and tests on the products for quality assurance purpose.
  • Report any deficiencies or concerns on the products, materials and parts to the supervisor.
  • Review and provide input on the processes for the manufacturing of the products.
  • Assist in the management of the operation of the manufacturing of the products.
  • Ensure and oversee the quality of the manufacturing process to fulfill relevant safety and industrial standard.
  • Install and adjust the electronic components and parts to complete the products by following the electrical schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams.

 

 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Electronic background/experience is an important asset.
  • BSC or Post-Secondary diploma in a related field required.
  • 3-5 years of working experience in manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge in inspection and testing of electronic products.
  • Critical eye and knowledge for identifying defects.
  • Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and safe manufacturing, lifting and handling procedures.
  • Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and the tools required in various production processes.
  • Effective verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams.
  • Commitment to quality and safety.
  • Proactive in ensuring job knowledge is current.
  • Respect diversity: treat others with respect and avoid unnecessary conflict.
