Currently, we are looking to hire a General Construction Supervisor who will not only oversee the day-to-day tasks at the site but will also make sure that all the components of the projects we undertake are coordinated in a secure and cost-effective manner.

Job Title: General Construction Supervisor

Wage: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour (Depending on working experience)

Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible

Position Available: 1

Working Location: Suite 104, 338 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5Y 3X2

Benefit: 4 % Vacation Pay or 10 Business Days of Paid Vacation

Responsibility:

• Oversee, regulate, and set up schedules regarding the tasks of all our crew who drive cranes and construction, paving, drilling, railway maintenance, and other analogous heavy machinery.
• Inaugurate techniques in order to meet work itinerary and integrate work activity with other project supervisors or managers.
• Oversee materials and supplies ordering.
• Settle various work-related issues and advise techniques to boost productivity.
• Train or be in charge of the training process of workers.
• Advocate staff elated actions such as recruitment and promotions.
• Create reports such as production reports.
• Oversee, organize, and schedule the tasks of associated apprentices, helpers, and labourers.

Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Several years of experience in the occupation being supervised is required.
• Working knowledge of English.
