Job description:
Tzaad Construction Ltd., located at 32611 Kendale Pl, Abbotsford, BC V2T 3X4, is looking for two permanent full-time Carpenters 40 hours per week to help us with our construction projects.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Survey building locations and levels
- Supervise other workers
- Estimate costs and materials
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
- Prepare cost estimates
Requirements:
- Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate.
- 1-2 years relevant experience
- English language
Remuneration:
- $30.00 per hour for 40 hours per week permanent contract
