Job Description:
- Develop designs and drawings for residential, industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings and recommend design changes.
- Preparing specifications and estimates.
- Manage the computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstation.
- Overseeing the projects for construction specifications and cost estimations.
- Preparing and interpreting specifications.
- Supervise the work performed by drafters and provide them with the required training.
- Prepare contract and bidding documents.
- Finish the required documentation for drawing sets.
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors.
Requirements:
- Completion of High School education is required.
- Completion of a college program in drafting or a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the same field is required.
