Location: Wyoming, ON N0N 1T0

Salary: $17.50 hourly / 40 hours per Week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train food service staff, schedule shifts, delegate tasks, and address performance issues to ensure efficient operation and high morale.
  • Monitor stock levels, order supplies, track usage, and conduct regular inventory checks to prevent shortages and ensure optimal food availability.
  • Implement and enforce hygiene and safety standards, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with health regulations to maintain a safe environment.
  • Organize and oversee meal preparation, ensure timely service, and maintain quality control to meet customer expectations and dietary requirements.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and feedback promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all food handling, preparation, and storage practices adhere to hygiene standards, including proper sanitation and cleanliness procedures to prevent contamination.
  • Regularly inspect, clean, and maintain kitchen and dining equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety, and arrange repairs or replacements as needed.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Secondary school graduation certificate is the minimum educational requirement. 
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the food service industry is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in handling food safety regulations and inventory management.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and handle the physical demands of a busy kitchen environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills to address complaints, interact with patrons, and ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment, point-of-sale systems, and inventory management software.
  • High attention to detail for maintaining quality control, adhering to hygiene standards, and managing food preparation processes.
