Tasks
- Oversee staff performance, provide guidance, train kitchen, and service staff, and address any issues or conflicts that arise.
- Supervise and schedule the activities of the staff who prepare and portion food.
- Monitor the quality of food served, ensuring it meets the restaurant’s standards for taste, presentation, and hygiene.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates and submit regular reports on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and staff performance.
- Plan and coordinate special events or promotions to attract customers and boost sales.
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Establish work schedules and procedures.
- Address customer complaints or special requests promptly and professionally.
