Location: Gander, NL A1V 1X3
Salary: $27.00 per hour for 35 hours per week
Overtime: 1.5 times gross pay after completion of 40 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Create and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to promote products or services and achieve business objectives.
- Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and manage content for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, and print materials.
- Plan, implement, and monitor marketing campaigns, analyzing their effectiveness and making adjustments as needed.
- Manage online marketing efforts, including SEO, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, prepare press releases, and manage media inquiries to secure coverage.
- Organize and manage public events, press conferences, and promotional activities to enhance the company’s public image.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of marketing and PR activities with company goals.
- Develop strategies to engage with customers and gather feedback to improve products and services.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing and PR campaigns, using data to measure success and inform future strategies.
- Oversee the budget for marketing and PR activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control.
Role Eligibility:
- A CEGEP/ college degree or equivalent is typically required.
- Prior experience in marketing, public relations, or communications roles, with a track record of successful campaigns and public engagement is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for crafting messages, interacting with media, and engaging with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in developing and executing marketing strategies, including digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management.
- Expertise in managing public relations activities, crisis management, and event coordination.
- Ability to analyze marketing and PR metrics, measure campaign effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media management.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and evolving public relations trends.
