Major Work Area: Construction, Renovation, Maintenance and repair. Residential and Commercial
Area of Specialization: Cladding industry, application of various materials for exterior cladding (Mac metal, fiber cement, wood, extruded aluminum, etc).
Handling heavy loads, Tight deadlines, physically demanding, large workload, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Site Environment: At heights, noisy, dusty
Work Location: On the road job. Work locations may vary. Frequent travel is required from the employee.
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Job requirements
Languages: English; Spanish is a plus
Transportation: Willing to travel, valid driver's license, travel expenses paid by employer
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Credentials: Working at heights training, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Security and Safety: Criminal record check
Specific Skills
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Operating boom and scissor lifts, power tools
