Debt Management Specialist

As a Debt Management Program (DMP) Specialist, your role will involve reaching out to individuals struggling with debt and offering them a solution through our Debt Management Program. You'll be responsible for explaining how our DMP can help them consolidate their payments, reduce or eliminate interest, and ultimately become debt-free within a manageable timeframe. Your goal will be to build trust, educate clients on the benefits of the program, and guide them through the enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact potential clients via phone, email, or in person to introduce and explain our Debt Management Program.
  • Assess clients' financial situations to determine if they are a good fit for the program.
  • Clearly communicate the benefits of the DMP, such as reduced interest rates, consolidated payments, and professional support.
  • Guide clients through the enrollment process, ensuring they understand all terms and conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress within the program.
  • Work closely with our credit counselors to provide ongoing support to clients.

Requirements:

  • Strong sales and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.
  • Previous experience in sales, financial services, or customer service is preferred.
  • Fluent in English, with additional language skills in French, Punjabi, Spanish or Hindi being a plus.
  • Ability to empathize with clients and build trust while maintaining professionalism.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-up skills.
