Responsibilities
Tasks
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food.
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Maintain records of stock, sales, and wastage.
- Train staff in job duties and sanitation and safety procedures.
- Establish work schedules and procedures.
- Ensure that all staff are knowledgeable about food safety practices and operational procedures.
- Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal food safety regulations.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
