Job description:

G & D Growers Ltd is urgently looking for eight (8) General Farm Worker’s (NOC: 8431) for their
farms located in Various locations in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

Work Locations:
1. 3315 Lefeuvre Rd, Abbotsford, BC V4X 1N5
2. Liberator Ave ,near Airport Gate 34 , Abbotsford ,BC-V2T 6h5
3. 1222 Tracey St, Abbotsford, BC V2T 6G3
4. 1481 Tracey St, Abbotsford, BC V2T 6G3
5. 30465 Walmsley Ave, Abbotsford, BC V2T 6G5

Wages: $17.40/hour for 30 hr/week + 4% Vacation Pay+ Accommodation will be provided at $
30/Week.

Education: None
Experience: Not required. Any previous experience would be an asset.

Job Duties:

• Field work, Soil Preparation, plowing, pruning, planting, weeding, cultivating, harvesting, sorting and packing of field crops
• Examining produce for quality and prepare for market.
• Loading produce into trucks and trailers.
• To monitor irrigation & the soil moisture as per crop requirements .
• Using fertilizers, detecting disease and other problems in crops .
• Protecting crops from weeds & pests by taking appropriate actions like spraying Pesticides etc.
• Farm workers also helps in Operating & maintaining farm machinery & equipment.
• Informing farmers or farm manager of crop progress.

Work Condition:

• Combination of sitting, standing, walking, large workload
• Able to lift loads
