• Load and unload goods and drive truck from manufacturing plants to retail centers
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment prior to each trip
• Perform brake adjustments and inspect vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues
• Efficiently receive and transmit critical information to central dispatch
• Safely transport both finished goods and raw materials across land, facilitating port-to-port logistics.
• Maintain meticulous records in the logbook, encompassing mileage, rest periods, and fuel/toll expenses
• Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, accidents, or regulatory violations
• Perform emergency roadside repairs and report it to maintenance personnel
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules to reach timely and quickly
• Follow all traffic laws and maintain commercial driving licence clean & up to date
• Diligently document cargo details and accurately track hours of service
