Job Description: Steel stud Framer

Rabbithood Contracting is a commercial and residential steel framing and drywall company based in Surrey, BC. We are looking for a Steel Stud Framer to join our team.

Job type: Full time/ Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Wage rate: $30.00 hourly

Work location: All over lower mainland area according to contracts/projects.

Job requirements

Education Qualification: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Language: English

Start date: Soon as possible

On site

 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Job duties:

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
• Supervise other workers
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
