Canada’s Best Value Inn located at 9705 Alaska Road Fort St. John BC V1J 1A4 is looking for 1 Housekeeping Supervisor. We are committed to providing 24-hour front desk service to make our guest's visit as pleasant and comfortable as possible. These are year-round, full–time positions.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the Room Attendants, Houseperson, and Laundry Attendants of their duties. Perform inspections of guest rooms to ensure the room attendants adhere to hotel standards. Managing inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies are available to accommodate guest and business demands. Conduct orientation and in-service training to explain policies and work procedures and demonstrate the use and maintenance of equipment. Examines the place in case any repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment is required and management reports. Prepare and inspect guest rooms as per Front Office, Sales, and /or GM's request for any VIP guests. Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage & may perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment Full-time. These are year-round, full–time positions.
Start date: Start as soon as possible
Offered wage: We offer $29.00/hr. 40 hours/week.
Qualifications:
Looking for a High school Graduate passionate about customer service. Must be available to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and night shifts. Possess good communication skills. 1 Year of experience in cleaning is usually required.
