• 1 Year to less than 2 year
• Physically fit to handle the job and require a lot of Bending, kneeling, crouching

Job Duties

• Installation of plumbing fixtures and systems in residential and commercial properties under construction.
• Inspect, troubleshooting and repair the existing plumbing fixtures and systems, test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, connect appliances to water and sewerage systems.
• Read and analyse the blueprints and construction plans, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and structure of the plumbing system, water supply, waste, and drainage systems.
• Locate and mark the positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size.
• Schedule tools and equipment
• Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
• May estimate costs and materials, preparing quotations and estimates.
