Job Title: Senior Manager – Auto Repair Shop

Location: Vancouver, BC

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager to lead the overall operations of our auto repair shop. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for setting the direction of the company, overseeing key departments, and ensuring that our business meets its financial and operational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management within the automotive industry, with a focus on driving growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Direction: Develop and implement long-term strategies that align with the company’s goals for growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the board of directors to formulate policies and establish the company’s strategic direction.

  • Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of financial, human, and material resources to ensure optimal performance and achievement of company objectives. Implement and monitor financial controls, budgets, and resource utilization to maximize profitability.

  • Organizational Development: Establish and manage key departments within the company, including the recruitment and development of middle managers and senior staff. Ensure that all departments operate effectively and are aligned with the company's strategic goals.

  • Operational Coordination: Coordinate the work of various departments to ensure seamless operations across all areas of the business. Oversee day-to-day activities, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

  • Company Representation: Represent the company in negotiations, partnerships, and official functions. Act as a spokesperson for the company in key business dealings and ensure that the company’s interests are well-represented.

  • Leadership and Decision-Making: Provide leadership and guidance to senior staff and middle managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Make high-level decisions that affect the overall direction and success of the business.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in management within the automotive or related industry, preferably with experience in auto repair shop operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
