About us

Old Town Restaurant is located inside Riverside Inn offers accommodation in Wabasca and features a free carpark, a golf course and a Jacuzzi. A day at Riverside Inn begins with a hot breakfast. The on-site bar features billiards and billiards table. Guests can relax and be entertained with a flat screen TV and a bar or with activities such as billiard and fisheries.  Our restaurant not only services our Riverside Inn guests, but also services all customers from our local community.

 

You will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas and make the areas clean
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods according to the restaurant’s procedures and standard
  • Give suggestions on menus and size of food portions
  • Monitor and order supplies
  • Establish work schedules for fellow co-workers
  • Train new kitchen staff
  • Take on different duties if staff is absent
  • More duties might be included if needed

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of Secondary School, culinary training and certificate asset
  • Have 2 – 3 years’ experience as a cook in a restaurant or hotel setting
  • Able to communicate in English

 

Specific Skills:

  • Canadian/Western Cuisine/Asian Cuisine
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
