CHAMPION TIRE & WHEELS DISTRIBUTION COPR.

Job Title: Buyer - Wholesale (Full-time position)

Education:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in international business/trade/commerce

Work experience an asset in:

• Automotive tires, wheels, and rims wholesale establishment/distribution centre; and
• Order processing, including managing orders, processing invoices, coordinating shipments.

Work Location:

• 2220 Midland Ave #68AP, Scarborough, Ontario, M1P 3E6

Duties:

• Source and purchase tires, wheels, and rims, aligning purchases with our product portfolio and customer base;
• Analyze our requirement, considering factors such as market demand, seasonality, and inventory turnover, to determine the optimal quantity and mix of products to purchase;
• Carefully curate product selections for quality, pricing, brand compatibility, and customer preferences;
• Collaborate with suppliers through interviews and negotiations to secure favorable terms on pricing, discounts, credit arrangements, and transportation logistics, optimizing purchasing costs and ensuring competitive pricing for the company;
• Oversee the efficient distribution of merchandise to outlets, managing logistics and inventory levels to ensure timely delivery and maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand;
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers through regular communication and collaboration, improving network of reliable partners to support the company’s purchasing needs;
• Familiar with Odoo our warehouse software to coordinate and facilitate the seamless merchandise delivery to the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory updates and efficient communication channels between suppliers and warehouse personnel.

Terms:   Permanent Full-time

Remuneration:  Annual salary $46,800, payable monthly (normal working hours: 30 hours per week)
