Tasks
- Operate and drive straight or transport cargo in and across North America
- Plan trip logistics and prepare required documentation
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle and accessories
- Maintain records of transportation of containers and record trip details: container info, distance traveled, gas consumption.
- Must be willing to work as a single driver and/or as a team driver.
- Manage bills of lading and manually or electronically maintain logbooks.
- Communicate with dispatcher and other drivers.
