Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Makeup Artist to join our team. As a Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for creating unique and visually appealing makeup designs for our clients. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work with different skin types and tones will be crucial in delivering high-quality makeup services.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their makeup needs and preferences.
- Advise clients on makeup application techniques and suitable products.
- Create makeup looks according to clients' specifications for various occasions such as weddings, parties, photoshoots, etc.
- Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest makeup trends and techniques.
- Collaborate with hairstylists, photographers, and other professionals on photoshoots or other projects.
- Build and maintain a client base through excellent service and positive referrals.
- Handle makeup product inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Makeup Artist, ideally in a salon, spa, or freelance capacity.
- Excellent knowledge of makeup products and their application techniques.
- Ability to work with various skin types and tones.
- Creativity and artistic flair.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism and reliability.
- Certification from a recognized makeup school or equivalent experience may be required.
- Portfolio of previous work is advantageous.
