Position:  Technical Advisor – User Support Technician (NOC 22221)

 

Wage:  $36.05 per hour plus Group Benefits Package (medical/dental/LTD/Accidental Life)

Location of Work:  Hangcha Forklift Canada, 3500 Laird Rd, Unit 1, Mississauga, ON L5L 5Y4

 

Job Description

  • Provide advanced technical solutions to support the dealer network regarding warranty, service and product repairs
  • Ensure timely and effective information dissemination, including technical publications, updates, and service call responsiveness.
  • Facilitate seamless communication and coordination with Factory Product Engineering, Parts, Warranty, and Technical Publications departments to ensure integrated support and information flow.
  • Reproduce, diagnose and resolve technical problems encountered by users
  • Investigate and analyze quality concerns, initiating the problem-solving process and coordinating with cross-functional teams for permanent corrective actions.
  • Collect required materials, reports or support files, ensuring comprehensive documentation for analysis and record-keeping.
  • Develop, produce, and update training curriculum and product information materials
  • Provide advice to users and direct and facilitate training programs, certification and process validation for dealers, technicians, and employees as directed.
  • Strategize, plan, execute, and oversee quality support activities at customer locations, including containment actions, data collection, and analysis.
  • Stay updated on product developments, modifications, and updates to ensure accurate and timely information dissemination to dealers.
  • Available for after-hour calls from dealer network to assist with service-related concerns.
  • Perform other duties assigned related to this position as required.

Job Requirements

  • Mechanical or trade school certificate
  • 3+ years of experience in related industry

 

Job Skills

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
