Position: Housekeeper
Location: Maha Hasnain Household 49 Avenue SW/21 Street SW, Altadore, Calgary AB
NO. OF POSITIONS: 1
Main Duties:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Housekeeper to perform some or all of
the following duties at our family home:
â— Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes, and making
beds.
â— Perform housekeeping and other home management duties under the general
direction of the employer.
â— Plan and prepare meals independently or with the employer, and may serve meals.
â— Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
â— Sweep, mop, wash, floors, Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs,
draperies and upholstered furniture
â— Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, drapers and upholstered
furniture
â— Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures an appliance
Employment Requirements:
â— Secondary school education is a strong asset.
â— Home management experience is a strong asset.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
â— Standing for extended periods.
â— Capable of lifting/pushing heavy objects weighing over 40 lbs.
â— Work under pressure.
â— Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending.
â— Using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Additional Skills and Requirements:
â— Attention to detail for thorough cleaning
â— Strong time management skills
â— Organizational skills for managing supplies
â— Knowledge of cleaning products
â— Effective communication
