Type of employment: Permanent Full-time
Language required: English
Wages: 22.00 hourly / 40 to 45 hours per Week
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
- Take inventory of fridge, freezer and dry storage area
- Any other duties as assigned
Candidate qualifications:
- 2 years of work experience as a line cook
- High school graduation certificate
- Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic is essential
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- Knowledge of sanitation and Health & safety educated
- Ontario Food Handlers certificate is required
- WHMIS Certified
