1108178 B.C. Ltd. is a construction company located in Surrey, BC which specializes in providing various construction services to its clients. Currently, we are hiring three full-time “Painters” to join our growing team.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: $ 28.85 per hour
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
Work locations: Surrey, BC, and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland (BC) area as per the company’s contracts with its clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Read specifications to determine quantities of materials required.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Repair cracks, holes, and other defects on surfaces to ensure a smooth finish.
- Protect unpainted areas using masking tape, drop cloths, and other protective materials.
- Mix and thin paint to obtain the desired color and texture.
- Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Install wallpaper and fabric wall coverings by accurately measuring, cutting, and adhering them to walls.
- Ensure that scaffolding or ladders are set up and used safely to access areas above ground level.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and cleaned after use.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school.
- Completion of a three-to four-year apprenticeship program or a minimum of 3 years experience in the same field is required.
- Ability to communicate in english.
