Job Title: GLAZIER HELPER

No. of Vacancies: 2

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.

Work Location: 103, 7935 128 STREET SURREY BC V3W 4E7

Wage rate: $23/hour for 40 hours/week.

Benefits: 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period. 

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: No previous experience required. Will Train

Language: English.

Job Duties: 

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding/ramps for installation
• Mix, pour and spread materials
• Assist the Glass Installer in assembly
• Assist in demolishing buildings
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction

 Additional Skills: Team working, Problem solving, Decision making & Continuous learning. Work under pressure

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, overtime required.
