JSBE Enterprise Ltd., operating as Ace Motel, is seeking 2 dedicated Front Desk Clerks to join our team. Ace Motel, located in the picturesque town of Princeton, BC, provides guests with easy access from both major highways and offers a welcoming and comfortable stay. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of accommodation for all our visitors. Working location:
130 Bridge Street, Princeton, British Columbia, V0X 1W0

Position:
Front Desk Clerk (Full-time, Minimum 30 hours per week)

Wage per hour:
$29.00 - $30.00 per hour

Overtime wage per hour:
$43.50 - $45.00 (if exceeds 40 hours per week)

Benefits:

  • 4% Vacation Pay

Job duties:

  • Welcome guests upon arrival, assign rooms, and provide room keys.
  • Manage reservations, including new bookings, cancellations, and modifications via phone, online platforms, and walk-ins.
  • Offer detailed information about motel amenities and services, as well as local attractions.
  • Handle guest check-outs, process payments, and ensure accurate billing.
  • Keep track of room availability, manage reservations, and update room assignments.
  • Adhere to and implement safety and emergency procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Support guests with special needs and ensure accessibility requirements are met.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are prepared and maintained to high standards.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as answering calls, managing emails, and maintaining guest records.
  • Oversee inventory and manage supplies to ensure availability and proper stock levels. 

Qualification:

  • Completion of secondary school is required;
  • Completion of a two-year apprenticeship program, or a college program in front desk operations or hotel management is an asset
  • Able to communicate in English.
