Great Blinds located in Surrey, BC is seeking a dedicated and diligent individual to fill the position of full-time Venetian Blind Installer. We install tilt & turn windows, motorized windows, Fauxwood Clutch Systems, and Honeycomb Blinds, among others. We strive to enhance customer homes' aesthetics through the seamless integration of blinds into home automation systems.

Salary: $28.00 per hour

Work Location: Surrey, BC, and various other locations in Lower Mainland (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow work order instructions to establish layout and take measurements to ensure accurate installation.
• Cut, shape, and assemble materials to form parts using machines and hand tools.
• Assemble parts and components using techniques like screwing, clipping, gluing, and bonding, to form the final product.
• Check the quality of the assembled products to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Install blinds according to required specifications and customer requirements.
• Adjust and align blinds to ensure proper operation and appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas, ensuring removal of scraps, dust, and by-products from the site.
• Uphold all safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Job Requirements

• Completion of Secondary School.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in the related field is required.
• Ability to communicate in English.
