Job Duties:
We are seeking a Restaurant General Manager to oversee all key functions of the restaurant and ensure smooth business operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate superior leadership and management skills, maintain a professional demeanor, and possess strong communication, customer service orientation, financial acumen, and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborate with other board of director, set the strategic goals, vision and objectives for operation activities in order to achieve annual targets.
- Oversee overall daily business operation and accelerate growth by implementing procedures and policies, while appropriately managing material, human and financial resources to achieve highest service standards.
- Manage financial controls, including setting restaurant’s budget and ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in collaboration with the corporate accountant;
- Work with the boards of directors to approve and execute national marketing initiatives; as well as formulating and approving both online and offline promotional campaigns;
- Oversee the development of the major departments and management team through ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance reviews, and coordinate the work of departments;
- Approve overall personnel planning and select middle managers and other staff to uphold high operational standards;
- Act on behalf of the company to attend events, meetings, and participate in negotiation or other official functions as needed.
- Ensure restaurant adheres to all legislative and government guidelines.
Qualifications:
- College diploma or a university degree in business administration, finance, economics or other related discipline;
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as a senior manager in a restaurant or other food service industry operation;
- Several years of experience as a middle manager is preferred;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and understand the inner workings of the restaurant, from the kitchen to the servers to the customers.
