At this point, we are looking for a hard-working, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented Plumber to join our team of talented individuals.
Position Details:
- Office Location: 15698 80A Ave, Surrey BC, V4N 0X6 and various locations as per company’s contract
- Position: Plumber (NOC: 72300)
- Number of positions: 5
- Terms of employment: Full-Time, permanent
- Wages: $29.00/hours and 40 hours/week
- Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Position Requirements:
- High School Education is required
- 3 to 4 years of experience is required
- Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision
- Positive and cooperative attitude
Job duties:
- Read blueprints and interpret drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system
- Determine water supply networks and waste drainage systems
- Coordinate with project manager on installation
- Install system used to transport water, waste, gases or liquid
- Fitting domestic appliances such as dishwashes, sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters etc
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- Prepare budgets and estimate scope of work and negotiate prices
- Must report any unsafe conditions and incidents
