At this point, we are looking for a hard-working, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team of talented individuals.
Position Details:
- Office Location: 15698 80A Ave, Surrey BC, V4N 0X6 and various locations as per company’s contract
- Position: Electrician (NOC: 72200)
- Number of positions: 5
- Terms of employment: Full-Time, permanent
- Wages: $30.00/hours and 40 hours/week
- Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Position Requirements:
- High School Education is required
- 3 to 4 years of experience is required
- Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision
- Positive and cooperative attitude
Job duties:
- Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts
- Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic system and remove and replace faulty components
- Repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternations, industrial storage batteries
- Connect electrical power to audio and visual communication equipment, signalling devices and heating and cooling system
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
- Must report any unsafe conditions and incidents
