Tasks
- Instruct apprentices
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Keep maintenance reports and documentation
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers'specifications
- Perform repair work on heavy trucks
- Verify and repair emission control systems
- Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing
