Are you a university student or recent graduate looking to enhance your skills in Digital Marketing, particularly in advertising? JBF is seeking aspiring Digital Marketing interns. Over a period of three months, you will have the opportunity to transform data analysis into valuable insights! This internship is unpaid, but those who demonstrate exceptional promise may be invited to continue as paid fellows.

Overview of the Learning Program

JBF Digital Marketing offers a unique experience for students who wish to enhance their skills in Digital Marketing and Advertising, providing opportunities that go beyond traditional classes, research, or internships. Operating remotely since its inception, our mentors have extensive experience in delivering the kind of "distance learning" now necessary for young people starting their careers.

During our intensive three-month program, interns will be trained in all facets of digital marketing, working with their mentors to gain deep knowledge of operations and tools such as Google AdManager, Google AdSense, and Meta ADS. From strategic content development to execution and advertising policies, program participants will graduate with a quality portfolio and be well-prepared for the Digital Marketing job market.

Our Mentors

Our group of mentors includes active Advertising Specialists with decades of experience. They, along with the JBF team, also assist interns in job searches through recommendation letters, references, and networking.

Expectations and Responsibilities

You will work remotely, according to your own schedule, in addition to participating in live calls for instruction and discussions with your mentor and colleagues. The commitment is 10 to 15 hours per week for a minimum of three months. As our team is global, we primarily communicate through virtual meetings and email. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deepening knowledge in operations analysis and policies of Google AdManager and Google AdSense.
  • Providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Planning, creating, and monitoring digital marketing campaigns on social media, email, and search engines.
  • Monitoring and analyzing social media metrics to measure campaign success.
  • Developing strategies for content creation and distribution to support digital campaigns.
  • Participating in regular department meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in related fields such as Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, among others, at a Canadian university or related business programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Creative with a strong desire for process improvement.
  • Passion for working in an innovative and fast-paced environment where change is frequent and desired.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft productivity tools, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in non-profit environments or social services is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
