Job Duties:
1. Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage work schedules and ensure efficient operations within the restaurant.
2. Oversee food preparation processes and coordinate tasks among kitchen staff to ensure timely and high-quality food service.
3. Provide guidance and training to team members on their responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
4. Forecast and estimate the quantity of ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation to prevent shortages.
5. Manage inventory levels and order necessary food and kitchen supplies to maintain smooth operations.
6. Monitor food quality and service delivery to uphold high standards and exceed customer expectations.
7. Handle customer feedback, complaints, and concerns professionally to maintain a positive dining experience.
8. Compile and submit reports on operational performance, inventory, or other relevant data.
9. Possess a good understanding of the restaurant's culinary styles and offerings to effectively manage food service operations.
10. Ensure the proper assembly and presentation of food trays or orders for delivery or service.
Qualifications:
1. Completion of High School.
2. Proven 1-2 years' experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry
3. This position may involve standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and being on your feet for extended periods of time. Physical stamina and the ability to handle the physical demands of a restaurant setting are essential for success in this role.
